Our Team

Kristen Allen, MPH, Co-Founder

Kristen received for Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Biology and Spanish from Concordia College (Moorhead, MN) and her Master of Public Health (MPH) in Epidemiology from Emory University's Rollins School of Public Health (Atlanta, GA). With over eight years of experience in epidemiology and public health, Kristen has a strong background in designing, conducting, and interpreting epidemiological studies in various settings and populations. Her work spans academia, federal government, healthcare, and the pharmaceutical industry, both in the US and Ex-US countries. Apart from work, Kristen enjoys traveling, spending time at many of Minnesota's 10,000 lakes, spending time with friends and family, and visiting neighborhood breweries with her husband and dog.

Kristina Lai, MPH, Co-Founder

Kristina holds a BS in Microbiology, Immunology, and Molecular Genetics from UCLA and a MPH in Global Epidemiology from Emory University’s Rollins School of Public Health. She has had the privilege of working with federal, state, and local health departments, international nonprofits, healthcare organizations, and academic institutions. She has actively contributed to projects across the United States, Sub-Saharan Africa, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia. Kristina is currently pursuing a PhD in Epidemiology at the University of California, Davis, with a research focus on applying innovative statistical methods to the seroepidemiology of infectious diseases. In her free time, she enjoys exploring the great outdoors with her husband and family, and tending her backyard garden and chickens in the California sunshine.
